To quit terminal you go to one of those options at the top left and look for “quit terminal” click on that and it will bring you back to the home page

How do you transfer the operating system from the old HD to the SSD

Blackberries QNX RTOS (Blackberry 10) was installed on their phones for a while after they ditched BlackBerry OS (this java version). For reference QNX is what they use to drive subways, elevators, medical equipment, and really anything else an RTOS is needed for. When this OS would release a new update the phone would hold a longer charge and run faster. It was an amazingly fast and stable OS, they even added an android and iOS emulator to it so people could run other apps on it. Sadly the emulators were janky and it was hard to maintain an RTOS for a phone so they switched to Android when they released BlackBerry Secure OS.

for the same price or cheaper you can get same specs laptop off aliexpress but it come with a nvidia 1060 4G gpu and a 1080p ips screen so it much better then this laptop

Im still using windows 8.1 on my main pc in 2024 and I dont plan on upgrading it anytime soon. Ive used Windows 10 and 11 and I still prefer Windows 8.1 over those operating systems. I love the start screen its unique in its own way

Good video. Be careful when removing the door clips. I snapped off my top clip by pulling from the bottom too hard. Slide index finger over top clip then lift up & out.

I considered Zorin OS, but everyone I talk to about running windows apps and things like Blizzard's battlenet launcher keep side stepping the question I ask; "will it run using Wine or Bottles". The straightest answer I can get is that "there are compatibility problems". So I'll pass on Zorin because I've already got Linux Mint running with that and a few other windows programs I need to run that there is no Linux alternative to.

Guys when you reboot your Mac, simultaneously hold down these keys Command + Option + R (not just Apple/Command + R). In the 'Reinstalling MacOS' field, it will offer you Ventura. If you only hold down 'Command + R,' the system takes you to an older recovery setup offering older OS like High Sierra, which Apple no longer supports. That's why you get the message: 'Recovery Server Could Not Be Contacted.' So all that changing the time stuff won't help. Good luck 😊

Use shrink or extend to fill new ssd if you cant shrink it to size. Im copying to a 250gb ssd and the 1tb hard drive would only shrink 56gb but still showing 900gb.
